Child Labour
Child labor occurs in countries or states which are affected by another global issue, Poverty. It usually goes like the parents of the children are not able to sustain a proper economic lifestyle because they live in Poverty filled state. To support their families, they send children in the age of development to work at construction sites, (etc.) to bring back home some money which would help maintain their life. These children build buildings instead of learning and educating themselves. Parents believe that sending their kids to work would help them sustain a proper lifestyle, but do not realize that they have changed the lifestyle of their child.

My name is Lakpak. I am thirteen, no fourteen. Thirteen? Yeah, I am thirteen years old.
(Works in a Mine)
"they have no training, no protective clothing and no compensation if they get injured"
How does it feel after knowing the dangers of mining?
"How does it feel? Its okay, I'm getting paid for it"

"We feel like going to school too"
- Lapak and his younger brother
"They come despite the lack of running water, schools and doctors, with a daily threat of death and injury"
Haseena "You should let them get educated" (explains to the parents of the student that they've already broken the law by sending their kids to work)
**Parent just nods**
